Oh wow it's been awhile

Howdy folks, been awhile since you've gotten a journal from me, eh?
Well, I've been busy with uni, and well, now that finals are over, I think I'm going to share some of the work that I've done over the past semester or so.
I gotta say, while it may not seem like much to you, drawing and sculpture has definitely made me look at things a lot differently than before. I'm starting to look at things in a more technical term. |D Still got a ways to go however, I have zero skill with real life subjects. No idea quite yet how I'm suppose to break those down and reconstruct them. Oh well, there will be time to learn how to do that, it doesn't look to be the most impossible thing to learn.
Anyway, art spam incoming!

BACK TO UNI TIME

ARGH.
In two days time, I head back to uni.
But that's not a bad thing. This time, more than half of my class's are areas that I am interested in. And they're really spread out, so I'm not booking it from one end of the campus to the other.
They're drawing, sculpture, and coding in Flash. (last one don't quote me, but I have a book for Actionscript, so methinks it will be in Flash. :3) All the intro stuff, yes, but one must begin somewhere, eh? I'm hoping that learning the basics, which I never did actually learn, will act as a catalyst.
Bah, I sound so silly, but this time I get to do creative stuff. Much as I liked design, it taught me more how to apply form and color in an abstract manner rather than creating something literal. Yes, it taught me a lot, but I love to create literal things. Something that exists, or may exist. Of course, I really do need to convince my brain that yes abstract is art as well and dammit I need to scan this...book, and upload it.
Also, I need to put some actual effort into this course and get an A, rather than the lazy B I got in design. No really, most of what I did in there was hash-work, tbh. I never devoted the time to make them truly shine. >:C

Hello again, good lord, it has been quite a while since I've done anything on here, eh?
Unfortunately, everything that I've been making in Design II is a bit hard to fit on a scanner. That, and I'm afraid of damaging the projects, there's at least 10+ by now. If I get my hands on a camera, I'll take pics and show off what I've been doing for, what, a year now?
Anyway, I'll get to what else I've been doing in my spare time.

I'm gradually learning the in and outs of camtasia and audacity, so expect the overall quality to improve as I go along. I hope you enjoy it, I certainly enjoyed recording it!
Oh, yeah, I do edit the videos so it's considerably less annoying to watch. If you've ever seen the likes of chuggaconroy, NintendoCaprisun, Nakateleeli, expect about the same kind of video quality. I'm a stickler for making things look good. :3
Any ways, I hope you enjoy it and subscribe for more! Though, the whole subscribing thing isn't necessary, it just encourages me to make more.
